Venezuelan DTH Cantv to give national coverage to the Iranian channel HispanTV


The Iranian public television network HispanTV, dedicated to broadcasting news and entertainment in Spanish, will have national coverage in Venezuela by being incorporated into the grid of DTH Cantv. The channel was previously present in regional operators.


The signal will occupy channel 307 of the programming of the Venezuelan public satellite TV operator, which has coverage in the entire territory due to its signal transmitted through the national satellite Simon Bolivar.


HispanTV, whose headquarters function in the Spanish city of Madrid, was released in December 2011 and is the fifth foreign language network sponsored by the Islamic Republic of Iran.


The channel has presence in some Latin American operators of Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, the Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
