Snapchat multiplied by five its video views and tops 8,000 daily


US app and social network Snapchat exceeded the 8,000 video views per day, stated the CEO of the company, Evan Spiegel, during the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media and Telecommunications Conference.


With this, Snapchat fivefold daily views compared to the figures that the company had shown a year ago. The social network, furor among young audiences, has 100 million active users per day, who remain approximately 25 to 30 minutes, according to Spiegel.


Snapchat has a section called Discover, intended to capitalize the positioning of brands and companies seeking to appeal to this growing audience in a market increasingly focused on online mobile video content.
