Sling TV expands Spanish-language programming with Sudamérica pack

The OTT Pay TV service Sling TV has launched a new Latino regional pack called Sudamérica with six TV channels from Argentina, Ecuador and Colombia. According to the company, more content from additional South American countries will be added soon.

The new pack is available for USD 10 per month, when purchased as standalone pack, or for USD 5 per month when combined with Best of Spanish TV, Sling Orange or Sling Blue. The channels included are Caracol TV, Nuestra Tele, NTN 24 y RCN Novelas from Colombia; Ecuavisa from Ecuador and TyC Sports from Argentina.

Last month, the company introduced its first regional pack, called Caribe, with the same prices as Sudamérica pack. In a press release, Sling TV announced that subscribers who signed up for Colombia pack before July 1, 2016 will now see a new name for their package: Sudamérica Legacy. In turn, customers who signed up for Colombia on or after July 1, 2016 will receive Sudamérica pack, which includes all the channels from Colombia, plus some new channels like Caracol TV from Colombia, TyC Sports from Argentina, and Ecuavisa from Ecuador.
