The QYOU, an entertainment company focused on the curation and programming of short-form video content, has announced a partnership with Totalplay to offer its content though the operator’s IPTV platform.
The deals marks The QYOU’s entry into the Latin American market. The company offers a line-up of internet content that include a range of genres such as short films, comedy, music and dance, among others. Videos can be watched on TV sets or mobile devices, informed the company though a press release.
The QYOU’s programming-as-a-Service approach delivers linear and on-demand TV channels, playlist-driven mobile apps, custom shows, and influencer marketing support to Pay-TV operators and subscription video service providers. The content is licensed by several brands, MCNs, and platforms.
“We are witnessing a significant boom in consumer appetite for short-form content – particularly among the millennial group, a demographic that grew up with internet video”, commented Hugo Adrián Hernández, TotalPlay’s Director Content Acquisition. “We’re confident that the channel will be a big hit with our audience”, he added.
