Microsoft has launched in Mexico the new Xbox One S console with 4K Blu-ray, 4K video streaming and High Dynamic Range (HDR). It is available in 1 and 2 TB version, in three packs priced from MX$ 7,999 (USD 395).
A few days ago, during Fan Fest Mexico City 2016, Xbox head, Phil Spencer told Argentine newspaper La Nacion that for this console, the company decided to maintain Blu-ray, in 4K, with high dynamic range (HDR) to be able to watch movies. “We support 4K streaming to watch Netflix movies. Because we know that the console is a gaming device. But users spend millions of hours watching videos or movies and browsing. And that is normal. People spend more hours watching videos than playing video games, on our console at least”.
The three Xbox One S bundles are: Xbox One S 2TB Limited Edition + Gears of War 4 + 12 Month Xbox Live; Xbox One S 1TB Limited Edition + Battlefield 1 + 12 Month Xbox Live and Xbox One S 1TB + FIFA 17.
