Public broadcaster TV Peru launched the new cultural and entertainment channel IPe, targeted at children and teens audiences. It is available on the DTT platform and Pay TV services. In addition, all the content will be available soon on the VOD platform IPe Play.
The president of TV Peru board, Maria Luisa Malaga, told El Peruano newspaper that the institution does not have much experience in producing content for children and teens, so they searched for “successful experiences in other countries, especially in public broadcasters such as Mi Señal from Colombia “.
“Children and teens need their own space”, said Malaga. Therefore, our goal is to provide them age-appropriate content that could be useful for their own personal development.
IPe is available to viewers on DTT channel 7.4, and on pay TV channels 45 (SD) and 545 (HD) in Claro’s line-up, 707 in Movistar TV service and 28 in BestCable system.
