Leading online videogame platform Twitch allied to IMS for Latin American marketing

Leading online gaming platform Twitch (Amazon) has allied with digital marketing company Internet Media Services (IMS), a joint-venture with Sony Pictures Television.

In order to develop and expand the presence of Twitch in the region, IMS will be in charge of marketing operations and representing the platform’s advertising inventory, focusing especially on Mexico and Brazil.

Twitch is the social network and online video platform leader in the “gamer” world, with over 100 million members and more than 1.7 million live and Video On Demand (VOD) contents. Access is free but it also has a paid subscription option.

Besides, it has Twitch Creative, a category dedicated to emerging, amateur and professional artists or any community expressions where users can create live broadcasts open for interaction which can be monetized.
