According to the latest report by Dataxis, the Pay-TV market in Latin America ended the fourth quarter of 2015 with 69.84 million subscribers, representing an increase of 4% compared to the same period last year and 0.8% against the Q3 2015.
Brazil remains the country with the most subscribers in the region with 19.12 million despite suffering a fall in the quarter of 2.33%. Mexico continues in second place with 17.99 million and a growth in the period of 3.26%. Following are Argentina with 8.47 million (+0.15%), Colombia with 5.12 million (+1.71%) and Venezuela with 4.83 million (+1.19%).
The holding company that owns more customers in the sector is America Movil (Mexico) with 14.47 million Pay-TV subscribers, followed by AT&T (United States) with 12.66 million. Following are Grupo Televisa (Mexico) with 10.83 million Telefonica (Spain) with 4.53 million and Grupo Clarin (Argentina) with 3.53 million.
