The Video On Demand (VOD) platform developer Interactivo 3 from Mexico announced through a press release that it has launched the OTT Cinema Uno for local residents. Besides, it assured that it aims to launch it as a linear channel as of March 2016.
“I am pleased that we are in talks with several Pay-TV operators and new OTT and mobile telephony platforms in Mexico, US, Canada and Latin America to establish trade agreements. In addition, in the second quarter of 2016 we are ready to launch Cinema Uno as linear channel”, stated the CSO of Interactivo 3, Francisco Sibauste.
Cinema Uno works with an online rental system that allows the user to access the films selected for a period of 30 days on which it has 72 hours to finish watching them once the video has started. The OTT offers one month free trials and thereafter the movies cost USD 1.85 while the rest of the catalog is priced at USD 1.32.
