In 2011, KIT Digital, a cloud-based software solutions and technology services provider for multiscreen video delivery, quintupled its Latin American client base, which includes Telecom Argentina with its so-called Arnet Play video streaming service, and Clarín Group, among others.
The company has informed that the agreement with Telecom for the utilization of KIT Digital’s platform in Arnet Play will enable the Argentine operator to offer its consumers more than 2.500 movie and TV titles through different devices. In turn, Clarín Group also utilizes the company’s solutions for its news portal (www.clarin.com). Additionally, ZNS Network from Bahamas is another new client in the region together with several religious networks and organizations from Brazil, Central America and Colombia.
In order to offer support to this rapid growth in the region, in 2011, the company opened offices in Miami and Buenos Aires, and hired Álvaro Gazzolo – an executive with 20-year experience in the market working with telecommunications companies, MSOs and broadcasters of the region – as its Sales VP for OTT Video Solutions. Kit Digital renders services to more than 2.400 clients in 50 countries, including some of the most important brands worldwide like AT&T, BBC, Disney-ABC, Google, MTV, News Corp. and Telefónica, among others.
