Cooking channel Food Network was added to Movistar Chile service this week. It’s available on HD for both Satellite and IPTV subscribers.
Food Network was launched late 2014 in Latin America in Portuguese language by Sky Brazil, and then move to DirecTV operations in the rest of the region in Spanish. Today the network can also be watched through Cable Onda in Panama and through Tigo Pay TV services in Central America. In Chile it was also available through DirecTV.
The network is part of Scripps Networks, and shows original Latin American productions as well as international shows, cooking competitions, tips and tricks and cooking techniques. The company claims to have over 8 million subscribers in the region.
