Digicel launches OTT app in the Caribbean

Digicel has announced the launch of Play Go, its live streaming service with seven HD channels, including sports and TV shows. It is available across Digicel’s markets in the Caribbean.


The app offers live streaming of channels SportsMax, SportsMax 2, NBA TV, Fight Sports, Catch, Catch 2 and P. Diddy’s Revolt TV. It can be downloaded for free on Android devices and soon it will be available for iOS.


For existing Digicel Play customer the app is available at no additional charge. In its website, the company informs “Digicel mobile customers benefit from reduced price of USD 4 per 30 days. Everyone else can avail of the service for a fee of USD6 for 30 days”.  Non-Digicel customers can make payment using their credit card.


According to John Suranyi, Group CEO for Digicel Play “in the world of entertainment, content is king – and getting it in customers’ hands in as many ways as possible is of paramount importance”.


Play Go is available in Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, British Virgin Islands, Curacao, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Jamaica, Montserrat, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Lucia, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Trinidad and Tobago and Panama.
