Chinese electronics manufacturer Hisense announced the launch of Claro Video on its Smart TVs, through a pre-installed application offering series and movies of the streaming service.
In a statement, the Chinese company said that this alliance is focused on the Latin American audience and will allow enjoying content through a simple platform with pre-installed applications that offer a higher quality of image and sound.
The streaming service app is already available in other TV sets manufacturers such as Samsung, LG and Sony. In turn, Claro Video has apps for iOS, Windows 8 and Android devices, Xbox consoles and Apple TV. In March of this year, Hisense had announced a similar agreement with Mexican OTT Cinépolis Klic.
