Cartoon Network leads pay-TV audience ratings in 1H 2016

 

During the first half of the year, Cartoon Network (Turner) was the most-watched channel in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru among kids aged 4 to 11 and among the general audience with pay TV.

 

The company reported that the children’s channel has been leading the pay TV audience ratings for 29 consecutive months among kids aged 4- 11.

 

During the year, Cartoon Network launched new episodes of the popular show “The Powerpuff Girls”, along with the website to create avatars “Powerpuff Yourself” and the second season of  hit show “Another week in Cartoon”, which was produced for YouTube channel.

 

The channel also strengthened its strategy for mobile devices with the launching of the apps “Flipped Out”, “CN Anything” and “Cartoon Network Blah!”

 

For the rest of 2016, Cartoon Network is preparing new episodes of the original series “Adventure Time”, “The Amazing World of Gumball”, “Regular Show”, “Uncle Grandpa”, “Steven Universe”, “We Bare Bears” and “Clarence”.
