Pay-TV operator Cablevision, leader in the Argentine market, announced through a statement that it had added to its digital programming grid the F1 Channel, dedicated to the top category of world motorsport, the Formula One.
The standard quality signal (SD) and its high definition (HD) version will be available at frequencies 108 and 630, respectively. It also included the TV Everywhere (TVE) and Video On Demand (VOD) platform of the channel, with access through Cablevision On Demand, for customers of their HD package.
The channel’s programming includes the 21 Grand Prix (GP) races of the Formula One World Cup (11 of them live), with coverage of more than 30 hours of broadcasting each week. In addition, other competitions can be seen, such as the GP1, the GP3, the Porsche Super Cup and 18 shows that complement the grid.
With this, the operator reaches 46 HD channels, and thus stands in fourth place locally under Pay-TV operators Telered (55), DirecTV (53) and Telecentro (51). It is followed by Gigared (40) and Supercanal (27).
