Axtel from Mexico reported revenues of USD 162 million in 1Q 2016

 

Telecommunications company Axtel from Mexico reported total revenues of USD 162 million in the first quarter (1Q) of 2016, representing an increase of 18% compared to the same period of 2015.

 

In its first financial report after its merger with Alestra operator, effective since February 15th, Axtel reported that the revenues its optic fiber network operations, through which it offers triple play of TV, broadband and telephony, reached USD 45.6 million (+14%).

 

Axtel TV subscribers reached 116,000 at the end of 1Q 2016, which represents an increase of 7,000 in the last three months or of 22,000 during the last year. As a whole, the company recorded a total of 1.08 million revenue generating units.
