Argentine media holding launches new corporative brand

Grupo América is the new corporate brand that will represent the holding integrated by pay TV operator Supercanal, the FTA channel America TV, the pay TV channel A24, Radio LaRed, Diario UNO newspaper and other 34 companies in Argentina.


“We decided to give a new corporative brand to our media group, which was once identified as UNO Medios”, said in an interview with Radio Nihuil the group’s president, Daniel Vila.


Created in the province of Mendoza, Grupo America is a 100% national company with 35 years’ experience in the market. Its pay TV operator, Supercanal, offers triple play services in 14 provinces of Argentina, among which are San Luis, San Juan, Tucuman, Mendoza, Santa Fe, La Rioja, Catamarca and Córdoba.
