Altice reported revenues of USD 202.5 million and 130,000 Pay-TV subscribers in the Dominican Republic

 

European telecommunications company Altice presented its financial report for the first quarter of 2016 in which it registered 130,000 Pay-TV subscribers in its operations in the Dominican Republic.

 

The company recorded revenues in that country of USD 202.5 million, representing a growth of 4.8% (in local currency) compared to the same period of 2015, and an EBITDA of USD 109.8 million, i.e. 7.6% more than in 1Q 2015.

 

Altice also offers triple play services (TV, Internet and telephony) through the SFR brand in French Guyana, Martinique and Guadeloupe. According to the report, total revenue of this division, which also includes operations in the French overseas territories in the islands of Mayotte and Reunion in the Indian Ocean, was of USD 56 million (-1%).
